Diana Segovia is an oil painter based in Portland, Oregon whose work explores the tension between chaos and beauty. Inspired by the lineage of art history and the fluid language of abstraction, her paintings are visual conversations between past and present—rooted in figurative symbolism and layered with emotional resonance.
Diana holds a BFA in Fiber Art from Eastern Michigan University, where she honed a deep respect for material and form. After graduating, she shifted her focus toward classical oil painting through atelier training, seeking to blend traditional techniques with conceptual depth.
Her work has been shown in group exhibitions across Michigan and most recently at Soliloquy Fine Arts in Portland. Each piece she creates is a reflection of the human condition—our ability to process, express, and connect in ways that transcend language.
